This song is pretty good! I would change a couple of things however:

One thing I would change is the piano plugin. There are many good ones out there, and many of them are free too! The one I have been using is called Lofi Keys 2 (which is a free one), but there's others out there as well.

Another thing is the audio quality. I can't tell if you rendered the song at a low bitrate or your mix sounds like this normally, but either way the solutions are to either render the .mp3 file to 320kbps (maximum bitrate the .mp3 format allows) or to compress and EQ carefully.

Overall, a solid song!

oh man thankyou

This song is pretty good! The only things I would personally change would be the melodic and rhythmic variations, so to make the song just a tiny bit more interesting.

Grandioso!

The setting and atmosphere of this one is just something else.

P.s. Good to see this was frontpaged! You really deserved it.

Pretty good remix! Simplistic, but still does its job really well.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :)

Damn, what a vibe here. The synths fit in with the piano wonderfully!

glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the kind words 🎵

This sounds like "Paradise on E" mixed with "Spectre", and it sounds lit!

Cesami responds:

I didn't know that song already existed :(

Rukkus, is that you? xD

Nah, jokes aside, I love the old school feel this song has. It takes me back several years to the golden years of dubstep (or at least whatever subgenre this might be tbh).

A bit of advice on the mixing. I can hear the highs being too loud, and that not enough equalizing was done on the basses. What I would do in that case is add a high-pass filter on essentially every melodic instrument (by that I mean anything but drums and percussions) and I would also make sure that the higher frequencies aren't super loud. To fill the high end, I would use white noise (make sure to lower the volume to a point where it's barely perceivable in the final mix)

Also, use SPAN a lot. Make sure that the waveform has somewhat consistently loud frequencies. You have no idea how much that plugin helped me with mixing :D

Hope this advice helps you out on the Final Round!

Ryzmik responds:

Thanks for the great review!
The thing is that I made half of this the last day for the round to end, so I mainly cared about the melodies and arrangement.

Good morning, afternoon and evening!
