Sheesh, this is a real vibe! I love the saw layering, I feel it made everything have a more complete atmosphere. The plucks you used in this song are also something I really enjoyed. The pitch bends near the end really worked out too imo.

Great job man, keep it up!

OVERSCORE responds:

Saws are like my standard for everything… lead, pads, random layers of chords, background melodies you can’t even hear, and weird high stuff up at C7 that sounds more like a dog whistle than music! :)

Damn, this is some powerful stuff man! It has this really energetic, hellish atmosphere to it that I absolutely can't get enough of. Great remastering!

One thing I would work on is the mixing really, but it's just because when looking at this song through Voxengo SPAN myself (it's a free spectrum analyzer VST), there was a bit of a lack of sound between 5kHz and 15kHz, but it's such a miniscule problem that I don't think it warrants a 4.5 star rating instead of 5 stars tbh.

Overall, great stuff, and I hope this review helped!

FarFromSundown responds:

Thanks alot for listening! Yea, I use SPAN as well. I typically cut certain frequencies out, typically the extremely high and extremely low (depending on what I'm going for) but that's just my personal preference more than anything. I really appreciate you checking it out!

Damn bro, ima set this as my ringtone for real! This gives me such an "old, carefree Android ringtone" vibe.

You should make a full song like this tbh!

EDIT: Yo, my bad bro. I forgot xdd

OVERSCORE responds:

Thinking about it…
No downloads? HMMM… lying??? XD
Pfff whatever TAKE A JOKE lol u good

This gives me strong "2012 Virtual Riot" vibes. Oh my god, please finish this!!!

P.s. Btw, good job making this on FL Studio 10! (I didn't hack you or anything don't worry, it was on your song's metadata xD)

Damn, this is a really vibey one!

It has a really strong feeling of melancholy behind it, and it's mostly because of how good your melodic composing skills are in my opinion. For a track as simplistic as this, it's really impressive!

Keep it up man!

~SpeedoRH

P.s. A better category for this song would have been 'Dance' or 'Video Game', because it does not sound like dubstep that much (although I hear some elements of dubstep here and there). Regardless, good job here.

P.s.p.s. Just read the description as well, and I am sorry man. I hope you are doing alright and I wish you the best really. I understand if you feel my words are not helping much though. ;(

OVERSCORE responds:

Thank you for the feedback and the support, I’ll change the genre

This gives me huge Super Hexagon vibes. Great tune!

OVERSCORE responds:

Awesome! I have no idea what that is.

What an end to a great EP of emotions! I love how upbeat this song sounds; it really emphasises how strong the feeling of hope can be.

I feel that the best thing about this song is how it resembles the beginning and end because of its similarity with 'Burn'.

Only one thing I would add is an ambient outro, but that's just 'me in a nutshell' lately xD

I am just so happy you've made all these beautiful songs. I cannot wait to hear more from you!

OVERSCORE responds:

This is my personal favorite, simply because of the feelings I poured into it. Thank you for listening to these projects!

This song emanates a feeling of hurt, yet it feels like you can overcome that hurt. I just love how determined this EP is!

Another great entry!

OVERSCORE responds:

Healing is a complicated process, your interpretations impress me more with each song lol

I love the use of leitmotifs here. The melody from Burn really works as a background melody here imo.

This song feels numb (as the name implies), yet the melody makes this song feel adventurous. It's almost like a journey you regret not taking.

Great work!

OVERSCORE responds:

The burn melody… you noticed! The songs are meant to compliment each other, if you listen close you’ll hear some melodies from different songs being used in different ways

Damn, this song really hit different. I think your author comments are a good reflection of what this song feels like. This song is really complex, which I can tell it's what you were going for.

That last minute feels a lot like the realisation that things require a change, and slowing down the tempo really helped create focus on that feeling. Nice touch!

This is definitely my favourite so far, and thank god it's also the longest!

OVERSCORE responds:

These songs were really open to interpretation, good to see someone’s taking advantage of the new perspective in trying to provide here
